Roche funding for APDP and CICANT

The Portuguese Diabetes Association and CICANT are awarded Roche funding for support to patients project

The Portuguese Diabetes Association (Associação Protectora dos Diabéticos de Portugal – APDP) – in partnership with the Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture and New Technologies (CICANT), University of Texas and Evolute – is one of the selected entities to receive funding in the context of a recent call for projects that develop support to patients.

The project is called “Support to self-management motivation for persons with diabetes via Digital Communication and Health data remote access.”

CICANT and Film and Media Arts Department (DCAM) will contribute to the project through the development of media and communication technologies for supporting persons with diabetes.
