Carla Patrícia Gonçalves e Sousa

Carla is a PhD student in Communication Sciences at Lusófona University of Lisbon.

Carla Sousa has a degree in Psychology from Lusófona University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the same university.

Carla works as a researcher in the Centre for Research in Applied Communication and New Technologies (CICANT), and her main research interests are related with media, specifically videogames, and behavior, including all the forms of promoting psychosocial skills, educational change, learning, health and human rights through them.

Currently, she is working as a researcher in the GamiLearning project (UTAP-ICDT/IVC-ESCT/0020/2014) funded by FCT under Portugal-Austin programme, and she was previously a member of the portuguese research team for ERAMUS+ ECFOLI.
