3rd International Media Literacy Research Symposium
Call for Proposals & Abstracts
The four moderators of the 3rd international – Media Literacy Research Symposium keynotes were announced.
The event will be held on June 19 at Lusófona University of Porto, Portugal.
David Buckingham, PhD – Researcher & Author of The Media Education Manifesto;
Jeff Share, PhD. – UCLA, Author of The Critical Media Literacy Guide: Engaging Media and Transforming Education;
Julie Frechette, PhD. – Worcester State University, Author of Media Education in a Digital Generation;
Antonio Lopez, PhD. – John Cabot University, Author of Greening Media Education;
There will be three strands of focus: Critical Media Literacy; Disinformation/Civic Media Literacy; Digital Citizenship, Policy and Training.
Scholars, Researchers, and Educators at all stages of their careers are welcome to submit their proposals.
