Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership ESSEMBLE approved with 97,5%
Project ESSEMBLE was recently reapproved by the European Commission.
ESSEMBLE – Education for Digital Film and Media Arts, a Strategic Partnership in Higher Education (Erasmus+ Programme) lead by ECATI, was recently approved with the highest grade and a score of 97.5%.
The panel of specialist selected by the European Commission to evaluate submissions to Strategic Partnership in Higher Education highlighted ESSEMBLE’s innovative character in the European arts and technologies training panorama.
According to the specialists, “Essemble innovates by focusing on film creativity and co-production strategies as (…) educational assets that will impact both film education and professional practices in this area at local and international level.”
ESSEMBLE is a research and training project promoted by four European Film and Media schools: Universidade Lusófona, Film and Media Arts Department (DCAM/ECATI), Lisbon, Portugal; LUCA School of Arts, Brussels, Belgium; Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), Budapest, Hungary, and ifs international film school cologne, Germany.
In this new cycle, ESSEMBLE aims for the effective co-production of short-films between the 4 schools along with teachers’ training.
