Title: Transmedia environment: development of communicative skills in schools
In this webinar we will present the project Transmedia environment: development of communicative skills in schools, which seeks to offer transmedia creation workshops at elementary schools in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The main objective of these creative workshops is to combine the discussion about the preservation of the environment and the development of media skills, exploring critical reading and the creative production of media content for children and teens through informal modes of learning enhanced by connectivity and digital technology. The methodology adopted is based on activities of perception, observation, imagination and aesthetic awareness, which can contribute to the understanding of the students’ world and the understanding of the contents of several areas of the school curriculum.
