Orlando Franco

PhD student in Arte dos Media at Universidade Lusofona Humanidades Técnologias, lisboa. Postgraduate in Teorias da Arte at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Degree in Fine Arts in the ESAD-Caldas da Rainha, Erasmus scholarship in Facultad de Bellas Artes de Salamanca. Has a plural activity in the visual arts field, as a visual artist, independent curator, teacher and cultural mediator. (professor assistente convidado no curso de fotografia da Universidade Lusofona Humanidades Tecnologias) Collaborates with educational institutions and museums (Museu Coleção Berardo). In his work, explores the ways of video, image (fixed and moving), installation and drawing. His researches seek to expand and amplify ideas and concepts as: tension and suspension, weight and lightness, achievement and frustration. His searches often focus on the physical notion of body / machine, which can be animals, mechanical, industrial or objects. Has regular exhibitions since 1999, which highlights: Collective exp. Paulo Ferreira

Paulo Ferreira’s research domains include e-Marketing, web advertising, eye tracking for web usability, social uses of technology an audience research. Since 2004, Paulo Ferreira has published several articles and delivered presentations at international conferences. He is the IT coordinator for the implementation and innovation of e-learning systems at Universidade Lusófona; he is involved in several projects for the development of mobile applications for distance learning; he is responsible for the in-house programs for the training of academic teachers in the use of new technologies.
The last two projects that he has participated has research are: Improving Prenatal Health Communication: Engaging Men via e-Health; Creative Lab : Access to Profession for persons with Handicap – Ref: 2017-1-FR01-KA202-037386.
