Lúcia de Fátima Viveiros Carvalho Silva Amaral da Piedade holds a PhD in Communication sciences /Organizational and crisis communication.

She has been, in the past decades, airport operational supervisor and holds experience in aeronautical management and training.

In the mean time she has developed many arquitectural projects.

She was an invited professor at Lusófona University in Lisbon, responsible for the Emerging Technologies in Airport Management course in the Masters of Aeronautical Management and now is teaching as an Aeronautical specialist in CEOPA -Airport Operations Specialization Course at Lusófona University in Lisbon and Ab Initio Airport Operations Officers (ANA).

She is a collaborator researcher of CICANT-Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture and New Technologies.
