Lives and works in Lisbon. Her artistic and research work, since 2001, focuses mainly on the perception of moving image. Has a PhD in Art and Design by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto [FBAUP] in 2016, with the thesis "Phantasmagorias: the moving image in the field of contemporary artistic practice". She is currently teacher and co-director of the Cinema/Moving Image Department of Ar.Co, in Lisbon. Has taught, between 2010-18, in the Multimedia Department of FBAUP, and between 2011-15 in the Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia Course at the Universidade Lusófona do Porto. She has been part of several collaborative artistic projects, including Coletivo Embankment, Plataforma Ma or Patê Filmes. These collaborations resulted in exhibitions such as "Embankment #9/Ao Monte" (Maus Hábitos, 2016) and "Embankment #8/Curators' Lab: Documentação e Discurso" (Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture), as well as her involvement as a curator in projects like "Antena 4: Embankment #7" (Serralves, 2010) or "TÉLÉTHÈQUE: Encontros Videográficos" (Institut Français du Portugal, 2010). She is currently developing a collaborative project within the scope of her artistic duo with Aida Castro. She directed the film “Parto sem dor”, that was part of the official selection of INDIELISBOA 2020, Festival Caminhos do Cinema Português and PORTO FEMME – International Film Festival, where she received the Prize for Best Documentary on the National Competition.
