Her work draws upon the relationship between sound, environment and urbanism, and has been presented in different formats.
She is a soundscape researcher, documentary director and curator. She is the founder and director of Lisboa Soa Sound Art Festival and the International Symposium Invisible Places.
She holds a PhD in Communication and Arts from FCSH-UNL with the thesis "Contributions for an Analysis of the Soundscape: Sound, Space and Acoustic Identity".
As a director, she highlights her film Soundwalkers, which circulated internationally through various festivals and sound conferences. She is an Integrated Researcher at Cicant/Universidade Lusófona.
