Orlando Franco holds a PhD in Media Art at Lusófona University of Lisbon.
He is a visual artist, independent curator, teacher and education mediator.
He is an Assistant Professor at Lusófona University, in Lisbon and invited Professor at ESAD.CR.
Postgraduate in Art Theory at Faculty of Fine Arts, Lisbon University. Degree in Fine Arts in the ESAD-Caldas da Rainha, Erasmus scholarship Faculty of Fine Arts of Salamanca.
Collaborates with the Educational Service of the Berardo Museum.
In his work, explores the ways of video, image (fixed and moving), installation and drawing. His researches seek to expand and amplify ideas and concepts as: tension and suspension, weight and lightness, achievement and frustration.
