Rute Muchacho is a professor of communication design and media production at the School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI) at Lusófona University.

She has a degree in Communication Design and a Master's in Museology and New Media. She is currently doing her PhD in Communication Sciences at the Lusófona University and is a researcher at the CICANT pole of CIC.Digital.

As a result of the quality of her nearly 20 years of experience in this area, she is in charge of the Communication Design office of the Lusófona Group, which includes more than a dozen institutions.
