Os Estudos do Som são uma área em desenvolvimento um pouco por todo o mundo. A possibilidade de ter acesso ao real a partir de outro sentido, a audição, realiza pontes e passagens importantes para a identidade de um território e a fundação de um lugar de pertença, importante para as comunidades.
Neste livro, em diferentes capítulos e autores, desenvolve-se as relações da audição e do som com o meio envolvente e com a produção sonora para os media e as artes. Aprofundar estas relações tornou-se hoje uma urgência que os investigadores editados neste livro aceitaram.

The Sound Experience: From Linearity to Circularity
Sound Studies is a developing scientific domain all over the world. The possibility of having access to reality from another sense, hearing/listening, creating bridges and passages that are important to identity a territory and the foundation of a place of belonging, important for communities.
In this book, through the different texts and authors, the relationships between hearing/listening and sound with the surrounding environment and with sound production for the media and the arts were developed. Deepening these relationships has today become an urgency that the researchers published in this book have accepted.
