CICANT Ph.D. student Anna Coutinho published a book chapter, “Campaigning for Europe ‘After’ the Economic ‘Crisis’: The Cases of Greece and Portugal”, for Springer/Palgrave McMillan publication. This chapter analyses the European Elections campaign 2019 in Greece and Portugal, two of the countries that fared worst in the aftermath of the economic crisis of 2007–2008. The research project funded by the European Parliament - EEMC European Elections Monitoring Centre - archived and analysed more than 11,000 campaign items.
