Carla Cerqueira at the presentation of Face de Eva's 47th issue

Issue 47 of the scientific journal Faces de Eva was presented on February 28, between 4:30 and 6:30 pm, at the Auditorium of the Lisbon Newsroom (Diogo Cão building, Alcântara Dock North), honoring Virgínia Quaresma (1882-1973), in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of this pioneering journalist's disappearance.

Driven by the question "What places have women sought in the Portuguese press over the last 100 years?", the discussion, that focused on the role women have played in the history of national journalism, both as producers and consumers of information, featured Carla Cerqueira (Universidade Lusófona, CICANT researcher and PI of the research project FEMglocal - Glocal Feminist Movements: Interactions and Contradictions, financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology, FCT, through national funds - PTDC/COM-CSS/4049/2021), Filipa Subtil (Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa and ICNOVA researcher), and Isabel Ventura (Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Escola Superior de Educação and CEMRI researcher). Aline Flor, journalist from Público, moderated the discussion.
