Patrícia Miranda holds a Degree in Sociology (2003) and a PhD also in Sociology, in the field of Family and Everyday Life (2010), both by ISCTE-IUL. In the last five years, she worked as a data manager at APIS (Portuguese Archive of Social Information) based at ICS-ULisboa (Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon). Concluded her PhD in 2010 (with a scholarship from FCT), the project 'Processes of Social Construction of Gender Identities in Children: a case study with a group of pre-adolescents in Viseu', merging at the intersection between Sociology of the Family, Sociology of Gender and Sociology of Childhood.
Nowadays, her main interests are Science Management, Data Management and Communication.
