From 12th to 19th of December, the 12th edition of UTOPIA UK Portuguese Film Festival will take place in Lisbon, at Universidade Lusófona under the headline "The female Gaze in 12 Films"
Under the artistic direction of researcher Érica Rodrigues, the festival has shown Portuguese cinema in institutions as diverse as the Barbican Arts Centre, the ICA - Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Royal Academy of Arts, the Ciné Lumière - Instituit Français du Royame-Uni, The Picture House and FACT Liverpool, among many others, serving as a bridge between the university and the general public.
CICANT is among the partner entities of this event, which also has the institutional support of the Instituto Camões and the Portuguese Embassy in the United Kingdom. The event is curated by film ville:
