Last face-to-face "Fake the System" meeting in Sofia

On the 18th and 19th of July, our researchers Sónia Lamy and Carla Cardoso, were in Sofia, Bulgaria, at the last Fake te System Project meeting, preparing the Toolkit - made from the contributions of all six European partners - and preparing the dissemination of all these pedagogical materials. The following steps for disseminating Toolkit materials were organized with Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Bulgaria, and Denmark.

The "Fake the system: EU tools against disinformation" is a transnational initiative that involves institutions from 6 European countries: Italy, Bulgaria, Denmark, Lithuania, Portugal, and Spain and aims to combat disinformation and fake news, especially those against Europe. This initiative aims to provide the tools to counteract disinformation and the phenomenon of fake news in an active way; develop a critical attitude towards information with low reliability; improve the usability of the opportunities of the European Union, through the promotion of European information channels; and to foster responsible use of online media by young people.
