The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) announced this Wednesday the results of the Call for Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects (IC&DT) in all scientific fields. Within the projects to which funding will be awarded, in the line of Exploratory Research Projects (PeX), CICANT received approval for the project On & Off: atmospheres of dis/connection, which scored highest in the Media and Communication domain. Coordinated by Ana Jorge, the On & Off project aims to illuminate the complexities of people’s engagement with and disengagement from digital media, by focusing on micro-environments of everyday situations characterized by their affective intensity, vulnerability, and liminality.
CICANT is also partner in two other projects which have been granted FCT funding. In the PeX line, the project of CeiD researcher Marta Jecu, Contemporary Art - A Tool for an Inclusive and Regenerated Museology, through CICANT's Coordinator, José Gomes Pinto. And, within the line of Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects (IC&DT), in the Inclusion Games Lab: Participatory Processes of Creation of Means for Accessibility, by HEI-LAB researcher and CICANT collaborator Filipe Luz.
Therefore, Lusófona University registered a total of 7 projects selected for funding.
