The Seminar "Ativismos digitais em Diálogo", which will take place on 11 OCTOBER, in room 217 of COLÉGIO ALMADA NEGREIROS, will feature Maria José Brites and Carla Cerqueira, CICANT integrated researchers.
The opening session of the event is scheduled for 9h20 am. There will also be three panels. The first round, "youth and digital activism", moderated by Ricardo Campos, will bring to discussion the "Usos das plataformas digitais na comunicação sobre alterações climáticas – um olhar sobre o movimento climático jovem em Portugal", by Daniela Ferreira da Silva and Anabela Carvalho. Alongside, the researcher Maria José Brites will reflect on the "Leituras do mundo e os (des)encontros com a cidadania". The first panel will close with Susana Batista and José Alberto Simões's presentation of "Como participam os jovens online? Discutindo perfis de cidadania digital a partir dos dados do EU Kids Online".
The 2nd panel of the event, "feminismos digitais", has a scheduled start time of 10.45 am. The opening speech will be made by the researcher Carla Cerqueira, who will focus on "“Ativismos feministas glocais: reflexões a partir do caso português". Juliana Rodrigues will present "O pessoal, o político e o digital: contribuições do everyday feminism e do diy feminism para o feminismo digital". Closing the panel's interventions, which will be moderated by Lidia Maropo, Camila Lamartine will present "Ativismo feminista contemporâneo: Ciberespaço, Interseccionalidade e transnacionalidade no Movimento 8M".
The last panel, focused on the "novos terrenos de ativismo digital", will open with the intervention of André Tropiano, "Etnografia Digital: da bagunça dos dados à interpretação da vida online", followed by "Supporting local associations through the promotion of Digital Commons", by Mela Bettega; and will end with "Ação Coletiva e Conectiva: O caso do ativismo “gay de direita” no contexto brasileiro", by Rodrigo Cruz. The moderator will be Vania Baldi.
