After meeting in Lisbon in May to finalise details and content, the partners of the COMSUS project - Development of sustainable communications of higher education institutions on social media launched this week the pilot of the e-learning course "The power of social media in the professional development of teachers: personal branding, tools for educational products, promotion of sustainable development values".
The course aims to raise HEIs' teaching, academic and scientific staff awareness about environmental and climate change challenges, develop skills in social media marketing as an instrument of personal brand development, a tool for educational products, and promotion of sustainable development values. This is the first of two courses to be made available.
Until September 30th Lusófona University staff members will participate in the pilot course, aiming to evaluate it, provide feedback and promote a cycle of improvement. It is estimated that the final version of the e-learning course will be available in the last quarter of the year.
