Fem-able project brings together partners in Crete
The partners of the Fem-able project met this week in Heraklion for their second face-to-face meeting. Now entering its second year of activity, the project, which aims to promote female participation in political life, is making good progress and will present its first deliverables at the end of this month, related to the socio-political and economic characterisation exercise of the national reality from a gender perspective.
The meetings were also attended by several female candidates for the municipal elections taking place in Crete, who shared their journey of balancing political intervention with professional and family life, as well as the constraints they have faced along the way.
