FIPP invited CICANT’s researcher and MagLab’s scientific coordinator, Carla Rodrigues Cardoso, to participate in their 46th annual international congress (4-6 June, in Cascais). The FIPP World Media Congress brings the industry together once a year to discuss the latest trends and for networking. This year more than 500 delegates from almost 50 countries had the opportunity to meet face to face. FIPP is MagLab’s major partner and the sponsor of the Future of Magazine International Conference that will have its second edition in 2025.
During the congress, MagLab was invited to be a member of FIPP Sustainability Committee. This committee aims to develop a sustainability framework for FIPP members, based on existing standards from across the industry. Carla Rodrigues Cardoso and Ana Figueiras, MagLab’s assistant scientific coordinator, participated for the first time in a FIPP Sustainability Committee meeting on 5 June.
