The conference Margins of a certain way: revolution in cinema will take place on 22 June at 3pm in the MAC/CCB Auditorium.
This conference considers revolutionary cinematographic images made invisible by a certain way of ‘governing memory’. By analysing images rescued from their ‘non-inscription’, Maria do Carmo Piçarra proposes to consider persistences and ruptures in the projection - national and of CPLP countries and territories - through cinema.

About the Other Spaces cycle
The ‘Other Spaces’ conference cycle is a partnership between the Belém Cultural Centre, the School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI) and the Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture and New Technologies (CICANT) of the Lusófona University - University Centre of Lisbon.
Presenting itself as a space for plural dialogue, this partnership seeks to connect academic and scientific production with the community and provide the transmission of knowledge.
