CICANT is currently hosting a PhD student from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Reginaldo Coelho, who is carrying out research into the education of deaf people. His project aims to develop an innovative game designed specifically for teaching/learning sign writing - Elis, promoting a direct educational path from sign language through an engaging game.
The research, that gathers researchers from CICANT and HEI-Lab, will explore how to materialise this game in analogue, digital or hybrid form, with a focus on improving usability and enjoyment, while promoting social interaction and learning.
