The results of the project "YouNDigital – Jovens, Notícias e Cidadania Digital" (PTDC/COM-OUT/0243/2021) were presented at the 16th European Sociological Association (ESA) Conference, which took place at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto from August 27th to 30th.
Margarida Maneta, YouNDigital research scholar, presented a paper titled "Youth Immigrant Audiences’ Pessimistic Sentiments: From Communication to Social-Based Concerns". Her presentation highlighted key findings and insights based on responses from young people from non-Western regions, as captured in the project's representative survey. These insights prompted engaging discussions on the communication issues and broader social concerns faced by these youth audiences.
