On the 24th October, Batalha Centro de Cinema hosted the launch of the physical edition of the book Disruptive Visual Expressions in Public Space. The event was attended by the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, along with the book's editors, Manuel Bogalheiro, Isabel Babo, and João Sousa Cardoso.
The presentation was led by Álvaro Domingues (FAUP) and the artist Miguel Januário, creator of the MaisMenos project.
The book is the result of an Exploratory Project funded by CICANT (Research Centre for Applied Communication and New Technologies/Universidade Lusófona) and the Foundation for Science and Technology, with its first digital edition launched in 2021, featuring design by Pedro Nora. This new printed edition, with design by Mariana Marques, was made possible through support from the Porto City Council.
