ASAP project conference proposes to discuss the effects of social media on pre-teens and the role of the educational community
The final national conference of the Erasmus+ project ASAP - A Systemic Approach to Social Media and Pre-Adolescents (2022-1-IT02-KA220-SCH-000090043) will take place on 30 May, between 10am and 1pm. Under the title Between the school and the screen: promoting a digital life, the event aims to open up a space for discussion about the effects of social media on pre-adolescents and the importance of an active dialogue between educational figures and young people.
After two years of working with schools, students, teachers and families, the main results and reflections of the project will be presented and the challenges and opportunities that the digital universe poses for pre-teens will be debated, as well as the essential role of the school and the wider educational community in promoting a more conscious and balanced digital experience and citizenship.
The event, organised by CICANT, takes place at the ISLA Gaia Auditorium, between 10am and 1pm and is supported by Gaia City Council through the Citizenship and Youth Forum. Participation is free but registration is compulsory - here. The event will be held in portuguese.
The final programme will be published shortly.
