On January 21, the EPIC-WE project will host a workshop entitled “Cultural Game Jams and the Quadruple Helix Innovation Model in Higher Education”. The initiative combines a practical workshop with a structured peer reflection session, focusing on pedagogical innovation in university contexts.
The event aims to promote critical reflection, appropriation, and pedagogical transfer of the Cultural Game Jams model and the Quadruple Helix innovation ecosystem across diverse higher education settings.
Grounded in the experience of the EPIC-WE project, the workshop draws on a Design-Based Research intervention developed at Óbidos-HUB, a collaborative initiative involving the Óbidos City Council, Lusófona University, and the company BattleSheep. The session invites university professors to engage with participatory, innovative, and culturally situated pedagogical methodologies.
A subsequent peer-learning and reflection session will contextualize the experience within broader discussions on pedagogical innovation in higher education.
