Following its commitment to become a reference space in the dialogue between cinematographic practice and academia, the Viana do Castelo Film Meetings (http://www.encontrosdecinema.pt/) decided to create, in 2021, a new segment aimed at master's and doctoral students.
Integrated in the program Olhares Frontais, the Work in Progress (WiP) intends to present and discuss research projects in the context of master's and doctoral studies in the area of cinema and audiovisual, both theoretically and artistically (film projects or arts-based research).
The call for proposals for the 2022 edition is open until January 31, 2022.
Proposals (abstract up to 500 words + references of the project) should be submitted at http://www.encontrosdecinema.pt/work-in-progress.php.
