On November 30, within the scope of the project “DiverGenteS” (developed by gentopia) that aims to raise awareness about areas related to gender equality, sexual orientation, identities, and expression of gender and sexual traits through affirmative actions toward diversity, Carla Cerqueira (PI of the research project “FEMglocal - Glocal feminist movements: interactions and contradictions”, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology - PTDC/COM-CSS/4049/2021) participated in an event on “Comprehensive Words” [Palavras Abrangentes]. In a conversation at Casa Comum with Daniela Filipe Bento and João de Matos, moderated by Aline Flor, topics on the potential and challenges of inclusive and neutral language related to issues of gender were reviewed and discussed.
