Are you between the ages of 18 and 29, do you live in the European Union, and do you love the truth? If you got three ‘yeahs’ then TheMayor.EU wants to give you the chance to write engaging materials on the topic of the fight against disinformation.
This initiative is being promoted in the scope of the project Read Twice, in which Lusófona University, CICANT is a partner.
This call is aimed at all young adults who want to be the Voice of Veracity and Promoters of Critical Thinking. So, if you feel passionate about telling a good story, want to try your hand at journalism and are keen on having your materials read by a global audience, visit TheMayor.EU and know more about this initiative. The portal will accept contributions until March 2024.m During that time contributors will get guidance and mentorship on how to develop their content and how to follow proper journalistic standards.
About Read Twice
ReadTwice (R2) is an Erasmus+ project that aims to counter disinformation and limit the spread of fake news by enhancing citizens` skills to assess critical information, identify vicious and harmful media content and distinguish between facts and opinions, thus improving their media literacy competences.
