New stereoscopic negatives by Carlos Relvas at the Raisonné

In the new color photographic survey of the stereoscopic negatives of Carlos Relvas kept at Casa Estúdio, in Golegã, eleven new stereoscopic negatives of Carlos Relvas have been identified, still unknown due to the fact that they had not yet been digitalized. Among subjects such as the interior of the church of Jerónimos and the omnipresent Golegã, negatives were identified that despite being very deteriorated, are of great interest to the study of Relvas’ work. This is the case of an equestrian portrait by Relvas, much hidden behind various scratches, marks and inscriptions, and which now features among the various equestrian portraits photographed by Relvas in stereoscopy. To consult this portrait gallery, we suggest you search on Carlos Relvas Stereo Raisonné by the subject ‘Portrait of/with horse’ or directly by Cota: A7-011.
