On 24 May took place FilmEU Talks: Diversity in Film & Media, a round table discussion about the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) "Diversity in Film & Media". The course is an output of the future.film.education research project.
Within a FilmEU Talk, representatives from all three participating institutions meet in a discussion about the MOOC and the need for raising awareness on gender & diversity issues at film & media institutions.
Topics of the discussion included gender & diversity issues, race, disability, queerness, critical pedagogy, Romani representation and more.
