A multidisciplinary team, involving Cicant researchers Carla Sousa and José Carlos Neves, the APPACDM - Lisbon and Labtec's team, developed a video game interface accessible to people with mental and/or motor disabilities.
Developed on the scope of OPERAT, the diPlay interface was part of the shortlist finalist of the 2023 TOM Global Innovation Challenge. TOM is a global movement of communities that creates and disseminates affordable solutions to neglected challenges of people living with disabilities, the elderly and the poor. DiPlay plans and instructions are now here, at the disposal of whoever wants to replicate it.
