In early July, the research project “FEMglocal - Glocal feminist movements: interactions and contradictions” (funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) through national funds - PTDC/COM-CSS/4049/2021) released the second episode of its podcast “Feminismos em Ação” (Feminisms in Action).
In this episode, titled “Feminismos em Ação: Refletir o cinema no feminino” (Feminisms in Action: Reflecting upon Women in Cinema), Ana Sofia Pereira (Postdoctoral Fellow of the FEMglocal research project and screenwriter), Raquel Freire (filmmaker, writer, screenwriter, producer, and activist), and Rita Capucho (co-founder and co-director of the Porto Femme - International Film Festival and member of the board of MUTIM – Women Workers of Moving Images) engage in a thought-provoking conversation led by Vanessa.
