Objectives

• Acquisition of knowledge, analytical skills and research skills in the scientific areas of communication sciences and social sciences;
• Acquisition of knowledge, analytical skills and research skills on themes and issues around Social Mobilizations, Networks and Activisms, Digital Ecologies, Civic Cultures, New Communication Expressions, New Media and New Journalistic Expressions (videojournalism, online documentary, web reports; community radio stations, etc.), Communication for Development/ C4D) and for Empowerment;
• Analyze and evaluate the impact and consequences of the use of digital technologies, digital social networks and new forms of communication and journalism, articulating with the issues of new ecologies, social mobilizations, innovation, social change and participation;
• Development of communication skills for the production and/ or management of projects in the field of digital communication, civic cultures and development.
