My academic background is in Mathematical Physics, with a focus on Thermodynamic Systems. I obtained my Master's degree from the Department of Physics at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' in 2012. I completed a PhD in Mathematics, specializing in Probability Theory and Models of Nonequilibrium Statistical Mechanics, from November 2013 to 2016. With the support of INFN (Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics), I defended my thesis in July 2017. As a researcher, I worked at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) in Pisa, and LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. Later, I worked as an HPC-Data Engineer in the Supercomputing Department of CINECA.
I gave course of Mathematics both at Master and PhD level. I published research papers in various Journal of Probability-Mathematical Physics and been reviewers for various Mathematics Journals.
Currently, I am an "Professor Auxiliar" (Assistant Professor) of Mathematics at the Departamento de Engenharia Informática e Sistemas de Informação of Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa. Additionally, I am an Integrated Member of the "Grupo de Física Matemática" (GFM) in Lisbon (FCT-IST) and a collaborator at COPELABS (ILIND, Universidade Lusófona), a research unit within the Center of Technology and Systems (CTS).
