Catarina Vasques Rito has a degree in Journalism from IPES, and a PhD in Fashion Design from the Beira Interior University and Minho University. She is an assistant professor at ECATI (ULHT) and a collaborator researcher in CICANT. Her research interests range from Fashion Identity to Fashion History and how Fashion reacts to the new challenges of sustainability and how communication is an important tool to promote a brand, focusing in Portugal and abroad. Her experience in researching projects is growing, been integrated in projects inside CICANT and ECATI.
She is also working in external projects in Fashion and its promotional impact into the public, creating platforms that help the national consumer interact with the national brands.
