João Pedro Baptista is a journalist and invited assistant professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) and invited assistant professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB). As a researcher, he is part of the CICANT Research Unit – The Center for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies at Universidade Lusófona, and was elected by the international magazine "Social Sciences" as the best young researcher of 2022.
