Artist, computer-scientist, researcher in digital animation. His research focuses on representations of the human body through algorithmic processes. He is the Principal Investigator of the project Ghost Dance: A methodology for the analysis of dance movement in interaction with virtual reality (EXPL/ART-PER/1238/2021). Earlier, he completed a doctorate in Computational Arts and Technologies at Goldsmiths, University of London. Later, he was Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow (Individual Global Fellowship) at MIRALab, University of Geneve, and BioISI, Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. He was also a postdoctoral researcher for the Technologically Expanded Performance project at INET-md | Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, in Portugal (PTDC/ART-PER/31263/2017). He took the Sculpture course and the Advanced Course in Visual Arts at Ar.Co, and his work was awarded twice at the VIDA - Art and Artificial Intelligence competition, promoted by the Spanish Telecom Telefónica (editions 12 and 13). He is an integrated researcher at CICANT and collaborator at INET-md.
