Karine Ehn holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Stockholms University and has more than 15 years of working experience in the field of data-driven customer communications and data analysis. Her Ph.D. in Communication Sciences at Lusofona University is about online conversations emerging in social networks on topics that may affect the development of the location-independent style of work. Understanding the nature of such conversations and narratives becomes increasingly important in the light of economic regression induced by the Covid pandemic. In particular, Karine is studying the interplay of the effects of these conversations on decision-making processes in individuals and communities (collectives). "Her first article “Digital Nomads and the Covid-19 Pandemic: Narratives about Relocation in a Time of Lockdowns and Reduced Mobility” is published in the SAGE Social Media Society journal.
