Sara Henriques is a PhD student in Communication Sciences at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, she has a master’s and degree in Educational Psychology from the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada – Instituto Universitário (ISPA).
She also started a PhD in Developmental Psychology which she opted to reassign to Communication Sciences due to the work she is currently performing at the Centre for Research in Applied Communications, Culture and New Technologies at ULHT.
She has developed academic research in the developmental and cognitive psychology field and more recently in the communication sciences field.
Her academic interests and recent academic activity is based on the influence of online social media in social relationships and patterns of individual and collective behavior and on the transformations of social practices and social relationships via the dissemination and use of new social technologies.
