Lurdes Macedo, researcher at CICANT, has won a research grant from the Institut Français du Portugal. This grant will allow her to spend a month working at CRIMIC (Centre de recherches interdisciplinaires sur les mondes ibéro-américains contemporains) at Sorbonne Université in Paris.
During this research stay, Lurdes Macedo will work on the project provisionally entitled "Intercultural memory of the European presence in Africa during late colonialism: a case study of Portugal/Mozambique" with the collaboration of one of the host centre's researchers. She will also teach undergraduate and master's degree courses.
