IJFMA vol.8, issue 2, encompasses a total of seven articles, plunging into the continuously growing interest in the relationship between precarity as a socio-political and philosophical concept and its intersection with media culture.

This issue presents a diverse range of publications and research endeavors that delve into the ways contemporary cinema and television depict dynamics of exploitation, extraction, and marginalization. Some of these analyses focus on issues of representation, with a keen eye on the distinct characteristics of cultural productions at national and continental levels, as well as artistic and thematic considerations.
