On&Off presents research results at two international conferences
The On&Off project team showcased their research on pilgrimage and digital media at two international conferences. At the Global Digital Intimacies Conference (University of Amsterdam, Netherlands), that took place on June 27-28, researcher Ana Jorge presented the communication titled “Atmospheres of Pilgrim Communities”, co-authored by Edna Santos, Ana Kubrusly, and Filipa Neto.
The second conference was the Perpetuum Mobile: Literary, Cultural, and Linguistic Transits Conference(University of Aveiro, Portugal), between July 3-5. Filipa Neto presented “Digital Paths: Digital Media in Pilgrimages to Santiago and World Youth Day”, a work co-authored by Ana Jorge and Ana Kubrusly.
These presentations highlighted the significant work being done by the On&Off project team in exploring the intersection of pilgrimage and digital media.
