The latest release from Edições Universitárias Lusófonas, titled Campo Televisivo – Bourdieu e a Autonomia Jornalística, authored by Daniel Cruzeiro, will be officially launched on October 17 at 5:30 PM in the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium. The event will feature presentations by journalist and sociology PhD Adelino Gomes, and Carla Martins, a board member of the Regulatory Authority for the Media (ERC) and a guest lecturer at Universidade Lusófona.
Daniel Cruzeiro, the author, is the Executive Director at SIC, a seasoned journalist, and has been a professor in the Communication Sciences Department at ECATI for over 20 years.
This book is the second volume in the Comunicação e Jornalismo collection, coordinated by Carla Rodrigues Cardoso, a researcher at CICANT. The series is dedicated to Mário Mesquita, a pioneering figure in Journalism Studies at Universidade Lusófona.
