YouNDigital Project: End-of-Year Highlights

As the year concludes, the YouNDigital project – Youth, News, and Digital Citizenship – shares its latest developments, advancing critical engagement with news, promoting digital citizenship, and fostering global discussions on diversity.

Key Reports Published

  • Training (Milestone 4): Highlights YouNDigital’s training sessions aimed at transferring knowledge and promoting critical media literacy, addressing topics like information credibility, Artificial Intelligence, and algorithms. Training targeted journalists, policymakers, and young audiences, with partnerships in Portugal and Brazil.
  • Project Outcomes (Milestone 5): Summarizes findings such as young people's preference for personally relevant news, the lack of schools as spaces for media literacy, the dominance of social media for information, and the association of news and politics with negative emotions.
