Lusófona University’s IJFMA Achieves Q2 Ranking and Prepares for Key Editorial Event

Lusófona University reaffirms its dedication to excellence in scientific publications with the International Journal of Film and Media Arts (IJFMA) gaining increasing recognition as it ascends to a Q2 ranking in Visual Arts. This achievement underscores the university’s commitment to fostering impactful research and thought leadership in the field.

Also, on 24 January 2025, from 2 PM, the IJFMA will participate in the I Meeting of Editors of Academic Arts Journals at the Batalha Film Center in Oporto. The event, organized by the Editorial Board of Aniki, aims to spark dialogue on shared challenges in academic publishing and promote collaboration among editors in the arts.

Representing IJFMA at this significant gathering will be Anna Coutinho, the journal’s Editorial Manager. Her participation will contribute to discussions on innovation and best practices in the publication landscape.

The event will feature presentations from four prominent academic journals:

  • Convergences – Journal of Research and Arts Education (IPCB)
  • International Journal of Film and Media Arts (Lusófona University)
  • Journal of Science and Technology of the Arts (UCP)
  • ROTURA - Journal of Communication, Culture and Arts (UALg)
