The final conference of the YouNDigital - Young people, news and citizenship (PTDC/COM-OUT/0243/2021) digital project will take place on 26 and 27 March, at Porto Univrsity Center, and online. The event marks the end of the project, which since 2022 has been focussing on the link between young people, news, and their digital citizenship, seeking to understand these emerging dynamics in a deeply digitized society and facilitating training in the area.
The event will be attended by some of the world's leading experts in this field of study, such as: Lynn Clark - University of Denver, Irene Costera Meijer - Vrije Unversiteit Amsterdam, Nic Newman - Reuters Institute, Marcel Broersma - University of Groningen, Centre for Media and Journalism Studies, Denise Mensonides - University of Groningen, Centre for Media and Journalism Studies, Joelle Swart - University of Groningen, Centre for Media and Journalism Studies & Stina Bengtsson - Södertörn University, Marisa Torres da Silva - Universidade Nova.
