CICANT announces the publication of a new study by researchers Prof. Manuel José Damásio and Pedro Matias, which explores how governance models within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) impact sustainability. The paper focuses on the FilmEU case study, a project funded by the European Commission, and argues that adopting more participatory and distributed governance structures is crucial for the long-term sustainability of HEIs. This research highlights how such models not only influence institutional sustainability but also catalyze sustainable practices aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
